I'm So Sorry, Mom

by Kaytrien   Oct 9, 2015

When I was young, and I played in baseball,
My mother would cheer, from across the whole hall.
My team would complain, about how much she would shout,
I nodded and said yes, I agree, that's no doubt.
I hated my mother, as much as I could,
I disliked her more, than I probably should.
I wanted her gone, I wanted her away,
but every time I would say that, she would still always say,
"Now listen dear boy, for I love you so,
but when I ask to play games, you always tell me no.
I don't know what to do now, you have broken my heart,
but I will love you dearly, as I did from the start."

As I later got older, and moved out of her home,
she would send me some letters, while I would go and rome.
I would drink and get high, as I ignored her letters,
I knew all she did was, make small baby sweaters.

One day I got a call, from my adopted brother,
he said "I'm so sorry to say this, but a death came from your mother.
Her day came to an end, her life is gone now. Her life is now over, and no one knows how."
I dropped my red cellphone, in shock and in horror,
I just lost my one mother who was a happy explorer.
I ran to the window and said " MOM!! I'M SO SORRY!"
as I looked out to the sky, with the stars that are starry.

Ever since that day, I still haven't forgiven,
my mom in real life, or said it when she was livin'
I miss my mom, and I want her back,
I wasted my life, because it has been hacked.
I ruined my life, and my mothers as well,
I will never see her, cuz' I'll be living in hell.
I'm so sorry mom, as I say everyday,
I miss those few words that you used to say,
"Now listen dear boy, for I love you so,
but when I ask to play games,
you always tell me no.
I don't know what to do now,
you have broken my heart,
but I will love you dearly,
as I did from the start."
Goodbye mom, please rest in peace,
as my love everyday, for you will increase.
