Shiny Little Things

by Fate Chan   Feb 6, 2016

Flimsy shoe

stroke from below

I'd certainly had skipped its blow

And the name granny'd called

When proudly he strode past the road

Save the suffocating pain a random pointy thing

Bestowed

Unto a strange realm remarkably close

Faceless creatures moving along

Straight and flat they stared

precious lives so tightly held

O shiny little screens

master hypnotists at hand

unaware when and where I am

Now this one made me feel confused lol

I enjoyed the read though. The poem has a rhythm. As I was reading the poem I felt like I was being squashed by a shoe then that I avoided it but then I dk...

It must have been like the ending I didn't know where or when I am... Pun not intended.

    Keep writing
