Lie to Survive?

Why do people find ways to deceive?
Do we have to lie sometimes to survive?
Now, we have to exhort ourselves to believe
The false that covers the truth inside

Is it logical enough to say what's not right,
Just to hide what they think is wrong?
Is it wise to cover a lie with another lie,
To be able to cover them for long?

Is keeping a part of yourself who urge to let go
A coherent way to keep you from ignominy?
Do we have to be numb so they won't know,
That pretending who you are not is necessary?

In this journey where we are all affected in everyone's action
Can we really not survive without lying and hiding the truth?
It must be hard to live in this world with no attestation
I think we just have to pretend we don't know the proof
