Anniversary Poem

Now I lay me,
Down to sleep,
Hear me, Lord,
This prayer I speak,

Send me a woman,
Kind hearted and true,
That was my prayer,
And he sent me you,

Out of nowhere,
You came in my world,
As a blossoming love,
Began to be unfurled,

I cared for you more,
As each day had passed,
Each time that we talk,
I had such a blast,

And then on the seventh,
I'll never forget that day,
I said that I love you,
Hours before your birthday,

And then after that,
A happy man I be,
Because of what you said,
That you also love me,

And even to this day,
As each hour goes by,
I love you even more,
And I'll tell you why,

Each time that we talk,
A smile comes to my face,
And when I hear your voice,
My heart begins to race,

And when you are hurting,
I feel the hurt too,
I want to hold you close,
And be there for you,

And when we are apart,
My world fades to gray,
I think about you constantly,
While you are away,

My love will never fade,
Or even begin to sway,
I'll never break your heart,
Or lead you into dismay,

So here we are,
One month united,
And thinking about you,
Still gets me excited,

There is one last thing,
I wish to impart,
I love you Jessica,
With all of my heart!

    OMG!!! Soooo unbelievable beautiful!
    I can't even be jealous and wish someone wrote that to me, bc just reading it from you to your girl makes me happy...
    never let go on someone who makes you feel like that!

    Not to offend TSI, but I disagree. The only problem I seen was the very last line.

    Unhurled is kind of ugly though.

    Amazing job, seriously Daniel. It's very sweet of you to write her a poem like this. I bet she absolutely loved it.

    Aww this was soooo cute. I loved it. The whole time I just kept thinking about my bf and how our anniversary is coming up. This was so adorable. My favorite part was:

    I thought that these stanza's were soo great. I was just like smiling through out the whole poem. Everything was just so cute and perfect. I loved it all. 5/5
