Looking to the Future

As I think towards the future I begin to wonder,
what will things be like for the two of us?
Will there be anything that will bring us under,
or will nothing ever break apart the two of us?

I like to think that we will continue to last,
living together until the time of old age.
Then together we can remember back to the past,
in the story of our life remembering the first page.

Someday in the future I will propose,
on my knee while looking into your eyes.
I want to be with you forever and everyone knows,
then we will never be saying our goodbyes.

You are the one I love, the joy of my life,
I look forward to the day that you are my wife.

I will wait until college's end is near,
I do not want it to distract you.
At the end of college it will bring you a tear,
after college we will start our life anew.

I think into the future like this more than most,
I will admit it is fairly strange.
I want us to always be very close,
and the love we have to never change.

I feel this is what you want as well,
though if I am wrong please let me know.
If you feel differently please do tell,
then I will try to think things more slow.

There is no one better for me I can think of,
You are and will always be my one true love.
