Unwanted disgrace

by rebel angel   May 20, 2008

What a disgrace is she
she can't face the mirror
all she can do is hide
Can you see now what you have done?
you've stolen her sunshine
and the twinkle in her eye
you've left her all broken inside

who is this girl who sleeps in my bed?
she claims my belongings
and combs through my hair
she is a stranger
one who holds a secret
she is not a child
nor can she be called a woman by her form

she sits in the office awaiting her turn
the women there stare
wondering"why is she here"
she should be playing outside
or with her dolls....

finally her name is called
she walks through the white hallways
ammonia in the air
she prepares to fix her mistake
her unwanted disgrace...
