Alex's Obituary (VERY SAD)

Alexander D.Lyskawa, 13 of Londonderry, NH died Monday May 26, 2008 in Summit Point, WV following injuries sustained from a motorcycle racing accident. Alex was born in Boston, MA on November 6, 1994 a son of Bruce and Patricia (Cady) Lyskawa, Sr. Alex was a seventh grade high honors student at Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School, Nashua, NH. Previously, while attending Londonderry Middle School, Alex was nominated as an Ambassador for People to People in sixth grade. Alex played football and several other sports in Londonderry for six years, and in 2007 won a NH Youth Football Academic Scholarship. Alex had been racing motorcycles since the age of five. He began with dirt track racing and moved on to road racing where he progressed quickly through the ranks, winning seven of his last 10 races.

In addition to his parents of Londonderry, Alex is survived by his three brothers, Brent Lyskawa, Christopher Lyskawa, and Kevin Lyskawa all of Londonderry, his sister, Meg Lyskawa of San Francisco, CA, his maternal grandfather, George L. Cady, Sr. of Hiltonhead, SC, his paternal grandmother, Joan Swink of Manchester, NH, also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Calling hours with will be held on Friday May 30th from 4- 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am in St. Mark's Church, corner of South Rd. and Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
