Unread and unsaid

I wanted to write you a poem
that would take your breath away

You most likley wont read it
because ive left it far too late

All the things i should of said to you
i guess i was just too scared

i wanted you forever
thats why i was unprepared

Im sorry for the way you said
i made you feel

I just want you know that what i felt was real

I dont know why im still writing this
When i know you wont ever read it

Youve moved on to better things
and i know that you dont need it

But if one day you ever did stumble
across this poem
i hope you feel a little comfort and some pride

To hear from your long lost love
the one you had to leave behind

But i know that you wont read this

I know .... because your dead
so the letter and all the hings i wish
i could say to you

will always be

and
unsaid
