Crying, with a flicker

by michael   Nov 5, 2008

Crying on the rooftop,
Lights flicker on the street,
a car drives up and stops with a loud screech
a flame flickers and winks out
the man from the car gets up and steps out

The lady crying, missing home
Lights flicker as dogs fight over a bone
That car driver ends up all alone
That flames coals still glow with such atone
The girl sits with her hair being blown

The things so far shes missing so
Lights flicker as they start to run home
The lady crying, missing home
Lights flicker as dogs fight over a bone
The crying on the rooftop
Lights flicker on the street
The crying lasts all night long
Lights flicker as she admits defeat.
