Life on the Edge

by Hawaiian Chick   Dec 6, 2008

Running off the edge of the world,
straps around my waist,
Feeling the adrenaline rushing through,
and the air against my face.

Seeing the city below my feet,
forcing away the fear,
Sucking the air into my lungs,
keeping my scream from my ears.

Pulling at the colored straps,
feeling my body jolt,
Holding steady toward the ground,
loving the slow float.

Live On the edge helps me see clear,
as my life's put on the line.
Missing those that I hold dear,
leaving all worries behind.
