My Own Demise

by LitxUpxWithxLife   May 15, 2009

There is a hole in my soul and it's black as soot.
Follow it down to the deepest root.
and there inside you'll find the real me.

My prison bars are the stars along with the black night.
Making the universe whole and the world turn right.
Out in space I wander but really it's in my own head.

With a kiss I will miss you one more time.
Making my words flow with dance and rhyme.
But never again will I touch your hand again.

So I'll sink into this rink will a hole in my head.
Wondering why they just didn't leave me for dead.
And it's all I can do to keep me from screaming.

Cloud my eyes within the skies and I'll fall away.
Breathing deep and hard I begin to sway.
And then I collapse into the world.

Darkness surrounds and drowns my eyes.
Hearing nothing but wailing cries.
and then there's nothing.

"But never again will I touch your hand again."
`You dont need the second again here, it becomes really repetitive, and thrwos the flow off..
