Loving You (Part 4)

Loving you
Was a dream come true.
I gave you my heart,
And hoped we would never part.

The days turned to weeks
and the weeks turned to years,
but overtime we both began to talk,
embracing eachothers thoughts.

Our plans were priceless to others,
but a treasure for us to keep.
Plans to meet eachother in person,
we always had discussed.

This time around we said,
we'll do whatever it takes
to finally meet eachother...
I'd drive the distance to be with you.

But Lord must have had other plans,
for you were diagnosed with a cancer
a cancerous tumor in the brain
which eventually took you away.

Devastated, in shock I was unable to cry,
wished it wasn't true and told myself it wasn't.
Tried calling you, but no answer on the other side,
received an email from your mother confirming you had passed.

The hardest part of this is leaving you,
you were my world, you were my everything.
But I dream a dream and I see your face,
and I know one day we will meet forever; always.

That was sad. :/ But it was also really beautiful. Just one thing:

"But Lord must of had other plans,"

The correct way to phrase that would be:

"But Lord must have had other plans,"
    ----------------------------------------------
My favorite line was this one:

"Devastated, in shock I was unable to cry,"

As long as a person lives on in the heart of others he or she does not really die, Joe.

I strongly believe we have an immortal soul that lives on forever and that the ones who have passed away are still with the ones they loved during their life on earth, as their guardian angel.
Please read the books Betty J. Eadie has written about heaven, it will give you peace of mind.
I hope in time you will be able to find a way to move on from this, you still have a whole life in front of you.

A beautiful tribute, it made me see exactly what you must have gone through.

    Take care,

    5/5 Ingrid
