Answered Prayers of Salvation

Lost in the darkness,
And I can't find my way,
So I closed my eyes, hit my knees,
Folded my hands and prayed,

Dear God, You know my pain,
The dark emptiness of the void,
Being alone for months and years,
Has really got me really annoyed,

I feel so unwanted and empty,
Struggling each and every day,
Send me a woman that will love me,
In each and every way.

I ended that prayer with thanks,
And put faith in my work,
That he would send a miracle,
Wherever it may lurk,

Several days did pass,
Like a ninja from within,
Little did I know that God,
Already sent me Karen,

The answer to my prayer,
Though little I did know,
But each time that we talked,
It was revealed more and more,

I think it was no accident,
When I offered to help you,
Someone had a hand in it,
Long before we ever knew,

For I peer through the looking glass,
And all that we have been through,
We deserve each other baby,
And I think it's long overdue!
