Fireworks

by Max Krakers   Jan 12, 2011

Every lonely night
I'll look up at the sky.
I'll see the moon and stars,
think of you
and cry.

Every summer day
I'll walk among the trees.
I'll feel the burning heath,
long for you
and cry.

Every winter night
I'll lie inside my bed.
I'll feel lonely and cold,
miss you warmth
and cry.

Every new year's eve
I'll look up at the sky.
I'll see the fireworks,
remember us
and smile.

The fireworks are over,
our love came to an end.
but the memories remain,
beautiful, bright
and just a little sad.
