Extracted perfectly
his heart, no less loving than before
now motionless

Swollen fingers probe
fragrant touches, with mixed emotion
Raven black floor, engulfing memories

For I am a Queen
and you have wronged me, great Warrior
deluded in your inward gazing

Pay the toll now
be stilled by your wrongfulness
misgivings enriched by your death
