Chains of the Night

by sleepingwillow   Nov 21, 2011

On blankets of woven moon clouds
my mind trys to escape
This passion fuelled chamber
built from loves tainted weight

Ill catch a glimpse of heaven
from the depth of my loves keen eyes
But as surely as the night comes
Ill shout out in painful cries

Curse the night! Its foreign reigns
that keep me in despair
Taunting that only sugar so sweet
will array my heart with tears.

(Side note* tears - 1. To pull apart or into pieces by force; rend.)

Sleepingwillow.
