The ring that fell in the water, the brigde, your smile

by Marcus blake   Nov 25, 2011

She told me I could have everlasting dreams of her, so I did
There is no better feeling than that of another and like the moon and sun
we shadowed each other...
I'd say life's never an issue with you in my mind, but it is
but you make it a little easier though, easier and easier...
I told you on the bridge "dreams can't make everything come true
You replied "They do for me, maybe your not dreaming"
so we play our little game enjoying our time
when we gazed at the stars that night
The long walk back to infinity
claiming we had no home, so wed just wander the world to see
If life had anything left for us
but back then, our moments by the sea
When the ring slipped into the water
You just laughed and smiled
smiling forever at me

I had to let you go, it wouldn't be like a bad habit, an addiction, it'd be a part of me and who is comfortable with that..." ~Marcus A. Blake~
