Black knight

by Harrison   Jan 12, 2012

A Fallen Knight rides in shame
Through hostile crowds who chant his name
A voice cry's out " Black Knight are thee who fought and fell"
" Who lost his pride and love as well"
Through tears of pain he reins his mount
And says " I fought for love and nothing more"
" Not fame nor Riches for I am still poor"
" I fought for a lady who stole my heart"
"which has slowly lead to me being torn apart"
He then turned his mount and road away
Having been turned down and cast astray
He thought to himself " It is as tho my actions mean nothing"
" How does one prove to love thee, when thee does not prove to love me ?"
" So am i dammed to a life of disgrace and shame"
"Or do not all people act the same ?"
The Knight then raised his arms to the sky
And his voice rings out " Forgive me lord but what have thy done to earn such grief
And then to the knights own disbelief a voice called out "
You have slept
You have eaten
You have lived
And you have loved
For that i envy you , for i have witnessed none
"You may be in times of pain and sorrow but it will pass like the autumn rain and the morning dew"
"So have faith young one and all shall be revealed to you "
