The feeling of peace I received when reading your poem is indescribable. I am amazed at how you seem to take the most precious moments of life, and also the simplest, put them in words and leave the reader with the taste and atmosphere of it. It's like all my stress can just fade into the background....muscles relax and my heart smiles at this images of joy in our lives!

I definitely agree with the first sip of coffee and the bliss chocolate can bring.....haven't yet experienced looking at a baby's smile but it truly must be heavensent. Each stanza kept getting more graceful and more magnificent in the man you are- strong because of her- strong because of love.

Nice touch at the end of capitalizing angel eyes, making it personal and believing forever she is your true angel.

A really calming piece, I just all-in-all enjoyed it. Keep it up- of course! And thanks for your thoughts on my work as well :)

TJ I think this poem is so awesome.

I love the images and I tell you that I have felt so many of the things you've mentioned in here. The chocolate melting on the tongue, the dipping in the pool. Oh I can so relate.

To bring it back to the way you feel about someone I think you have done it well. An awesome poem by you with wonderful images and beautiful words.

I love how love changes ordinary people into queens and kings. The feeling of being loved this way by another person really does something to your self esteem. I think we all deserve to have this kind of relationship in our lives:)

^Your opening stanza has made me hungry for chocolates! That is indeed a sensation that no words can describe and to feel love that way is just magical!!

I do agree to the above comments somewhat though I do not think that this poem is "just beautiful". Well, yes it is beautiful, but in my opinion it gives that word a new definition, a more gentle and stronger meaning at once. More gentle as you being at ease while telling and the reader while reading, the tone is really soft, but filled with conviction and stronger as in the emotions in this poem, slowly entwining around you as you read, giving you some sort of hug, sharing the happiness with you. I hope that makes sense.

Usually love poems are directed at one specific person, which ends up warming their heart in this very special way, but your poem obviously managed to touch many as we can see in the above comments and it also got to me.

I am sure you'll be able to keep that spirit up for a long while. Absolutely well written and touching poem, which shows your heartiness very well.

I often find love poems on this site soppy, idealistic and too far away from reality but upon reading this I felt waves of refeshment because this poem is excellent I couldn't help but be moved by its sweetness.

I love how you drew the reader in by listing simple everyday things the reader can relate to.

This poem made me think of my fiance and I loved how you combined being soft, gentle and sweet without being cheesey or idealistic.

There is an air of honesty in this piece that I am sure many people in love can relate too.

I cannot decide if this is written for a specific person in your life right now or just your imagination gathering these wonderful thoughts and feelings to express to your love when they appear.
