A Night of Disaster

by loi vincent   Apr 2, 2012

It was just like a dream
Never likely to happen
God is the alarm clock
That wakes me up to live to tell the tale.

The coldness that runs to my veins
Heed the rush of wild water
Different voices are there screaming for "HELP!"
I can see houses lifted by water

I can't do anything but to pray and cry
The things we treasure for how many years
Lost for a second, and
The precious possessions vanished for just one snap.

Survival is our quest
So we did our best to conquer the test
For just one night he destroyed everything we have,
That needs to recover for almost a year.
