When you are heartbroken

You pretend to be strong and calm
You manage to smile behind the lost charm
You want to show him that you have moved on
You say you're no longer bothered by the days gone.

But, when you finally find yourself on your own
When darkness falls and you are all alone
You suddenly break down and cry out your pain
You still long for those beautiful old days, but in vain

Unable to endure the pain so deep
You wake up at midnight and silently weep
Holding on the memories on your bruised heart
You still try to mend your soul that has torn apart.

    I REALLY LOVED THIS, some time ago I went through a heart break and it really knocked me down. this poem really made me feel my heart bound faster as the words described me very clearly, like it was wrote for me, great job, one of all time favorite poems. How does one nominate a poem, some poems show where I can nominate it and some don't, do you know why, I wanted to nominate your next week!
