Whispers

Drowning Memory

A fragment,a shard, litters and cuts
My clouded mind
A key to behold,
Memories of my childhood shrines.
A memorial dust, a timeless rust,
Days gone by,time gone by,
Like a faded Rose...

Whisper,
Solace

My mind is a permanent evening
Like a leaf in autumn, breaking away,
From the tree of a lost morning.
My soul is a complacent ship,
That lost it's anchor,

Where am I?
Who am I?

The faded sails!
The painful gales!
Erosions of a battered psyche
Like a cliff, no longer mighty
Daylight wanes,
Midnight falls,
Mirroring the fall from grace
blood of childhood dries and fades,
Birthing the Dawn of youth,
Full of lifeless breath
And waiting fears
 a futile venture
A driven cold.
Wishes and prayers,
A plea to return
To a familiar tale
And a lost acquaintance,
One too many.
Past is lost,
Drowned,In the oceans of time
Boiling with intolerance
Towards my only companion.
