Bright and Beautiful

by Holly Cassidy   May 30, 2012

I stand ingrained
In the soil beneath me,
Swaying in the breeze,
From side-to-side.

My bright color,
Stands out in the midst,
Of all the blandness
That surrounds me.

I am a symbol of
Beauty,love and sincerity.
But there's more to me,
Than just those three little things.

My petals bloom about,
Spreading in all directions,
Revealing my beauty,
For the world to see.

Bright and beautiful,
I stand...

Bright and beautiful,
I am a rose...
