The Five Senses Of Sadness

by Holly Cassidy   May 15, 2012

Sadness is blue,
It tastes like the saltiness of an ocean,
And has the scent of a dead corpse decaying.
Sadness feels like suffocating and dying in a dark room,
And sounds like the dead silence on a cloudless night.
Sadness looks like the lonliness in this dark room I'm in.
Sadness is a deep gaping hole in my heart.
