Puzzle Pieces

There's so much more to it!
loving you the right way.
It brings joy to me
It kinda sets me free..
Knowing you quietly love me..
Watching, Waiting patiently.
Putting all my scattered
puzzle pieces into some kind of order.
Wondering what the outcome will be...
With a couple of pieces missing.
Would I still be me?
Yes!! ...there are some missing.
A few even tattered.
You know they fit !!!!
And if they didn't.. would it matter?
I think you know I'm not defined
by one or all of my puzzle pieces.
I'm a Picture, a painting.
To be seen as the artist
has intended it...
Yes there's much more to it.
Loving you the right way ...
Maybe someday ...
Ill give to you the puzzle pieces
I've kept to myself.
The prized pieces, a few old.
A few new..
And when your finished
Putting that puzzle toether.
In that image ...
Along side of me...
I hope you see YOU!...

    Definitely a beautiful and fun piece. It's true that a new love may not be able to put all the pieces back.. but sometimes what they give can out match what you had. Indeed, an enjoyable read.

    Oh how cute is this poem!!!!!!!!!

    This was a fun and loving write! Very creative and just so precious really! I adore the metaphor of the puzzle.... Sometimes life makes our hearts scatter within time... and it takes a while to put the pieces back together... but eventually things fall into place... LOVE THIS!
