Moonlight

by Some Random Human   Aug 30, 2012

Well I was just a guy, wondering around in life,
the regular type, always nice,
never harm a soul, never doing wrong,
now it's hard to control, an urge so strong,
I was bit in the night, never saw the beast,
now this ain't right, the way I need to feast,

I felt the sunlight,
so bright,
shinnin' right down on me,
I felt the moonlight,
dead night,
come to set the monster free,

And I don't know, I may give up,
feels like now, I'm out of luck,
I feel like a wolf, in a sheep disguise,
a bloodlust thirst, behind my cannibal eyes,
there's a monster inside, a curse I can't break,
this feeling arised, a rage I just can't shake,

I felt the sunlight,
so bright,
shinnin' right down on me,
I felt the moonlight,
dead night,
come to set the monster free,

I've got these carnivore teeth, hunger for flesh,
things I used to eat, I no longer digest,
I need human skin, a human heart,
it's such a sin, but I feel like I'll starve,
if I don't get a taste, I have no hope,
I'm such a disgrace, just a lycanthrope,

I felt the sunlight,
so bright,
shinnin' right down on me,
I felt the moonlight,
dead night,
come to set the monster free,

I felt the sunlight,
so bright,
shinnin' right down on me,
now this moonlight,
dead night,
had come to set the monster free...
