    Jane,
I can sense a frustration in this piece...I do hope that whatever is troubling you in this relationship, finds its way to peace and clarity for you.

The poem itself was simple, and to me, that is the way that works the best sometimes, we don't always need to add the metaphors and the fancy wording to make a masterpiece, sometimes it is these raw emotions and feelings that are best representations of poetry.

I love this piece for purely it's simplicity and power...

Jane: I've read allot of your poetry, and I apologize for not commenting much, but I have to say, after I read this poem, I couldn't help but comment... This is one of those poems that I am choosing not to break down, its heartbreaking and beautiful all in one.. This is one of those poems that I think many will read and say "Oh I can feel this"... it made me tear up... You poured your heart in this piece and its truly touching... thank you for sharing ~

I love such 'in your face' poems.
The honesty here got to me, it really did.

This is an awesome piece of writing so powerful and heartfelt, for me, it's like a rollacoaster both heart wrenching and beautiful all in one.

I really like the tempo of it when reading aloud( i always read once in my head and once allowed) and i found the raw side of this piece seriously powerful and demanding ....ugh......just an amazing write.

Wow Jane, this is a punch in the face kind of poem. It is so simple, but still so artistic. Reading some of the previous comments is showing me that you really hit home with many people, including me. So many people can truly relate to this and that is something the best poets in the world strive for.

Mind blowing. Beautiful. Just all around, perfect.
