No Hope

The battle rages on ward
I can not move forward
The hateful actions don't end
There are no real friends

With each slash of a knife
We are slowly losing life
The pain is inflicted everyday
Shows me that there is no way

Losing hope in all of mankind
For horror is all I find
What happened to the innocence?
What happened to the joyful essence?

Others hurt so happiness can rein
But how much happiness can be if so many are in pain?

    I like the rhyming, the way that it just seems to flow, and I love that you put questions every other place in a poem it makes me love them and reading the poem since I love to ponder the questions it's life humanity often is curious I love the second stanza that cuts deep I used to be a cutter and it wasn't always fun and games I kept loosing myself and there was no hope for me the more I did it and the only way I got out was the death of someone close to my heart to snap me out., so now I'm different. Thank you for showing and posting this poem sorry I haven't posted faster but I have been busy with my school work 5/5
