    No pain as deep as the pain of knowing love has died and you are left alone and bereft.

    I like your rhyming poems, Peter. The sadness oozes out of this one, but luckily you added it is not your present state of mind!:)

    Sometimes just driving can give us too much time to think,
    That journey no matter how small when your mind switches off and you go inside your own minefeld of a mind.
    I think you capture this very well.
    Rhyming as expected from you is spot on.

    WOW, WOW, WOW, this is not just a poem, this is a gift to all the readers. I love this poem so much, it is unbelievably outstanding. I loved every line, my heart beated to every word and I couldn't get enough of the verses. WONDERFUL POEM, I CAN'T GET OVER HOW TALNTED YOU ARE!!

    My fav line was the one that said " His spirit now broken, trust all now but died. Bitterness growing where love did reside." That was one of those lines that makes a poem something memorable!
