Fight

by Love Hurts   May 21, 2013

Sickening shouts.
Refusal and pouts.
Determination not to give in,
show no emotion and you will win.
Always hide what's inside, never give up pride.
Even if the consequence is to much to bare,
I'm done giving in my share.
Mommy, you can scream,
but I won't listen to thee.
I know you're in the wrong.
Don't give me that same old song.
Ok! I understand I'm only a child.
But can't I be wise at 14?
Just because you lived longer than me,
does not mean you are smarter than me in everything!
And if you think you are, you should know this.
Wisdom us not based on age, but experiences.
