Savor Each Season

by Isabella Grace   May 29, 2013

All people have a past
Happy, sad, lonely, or blue
Some see a light at last
Finally a Dream come true

How did they get there
What did they do
How did they learn to bear
All should be able to

Each one deserves a smile
Every waking day
Perhaps after a while
A genuine display

From the heart it must come
A feeling from inside
Dreams a reality for some
For others they hide

Created in His image
Perfect in His eyes
A journey of homage
Success if improvise

Dreams were granted
One must realize
Seeds were planted
To mold our human lives

One must take what is given
All for a reason
Create a life worth living
Savor every Season

I have to just say, firstly, I loved your title! It was beautiful and that word "savor" is like cherishing the time we are given as well as change in our lives, hence the seasons..

I like all the question words in the second stanza because that is what comes up quite often in our minds. Okay, so we're here, how exactly did this happen? What's next?

Beautiful bit about the smile. Whoever we are, one smile can make a difference and if it's hard to show that happiness, they still deserve to receive one, even if from a stranger.

    "Dreams a reality for some
    For others they hide"

    - Well said! Some people do believe they can reach dreams and make these goals, but others are afraid, maybe it's commitment or the act of getting out there and living for them.

    "A journey of homage
    Success if improvise"

    - Love how you mentioned earlier in this stanza how we are all made in God's image, how true is that, we can always do better and we have that example of holiness and grace for our Creator..... I think in the last line "improvise" should be "improvised", it didn't make sense to me otherwise.

Last stanzas were my favorite, indeed, as life goes on we will grow and realize these dreams are our own and here for a purpose as are we.

    Good write!
