Drinking

by Cheyenne   Jun 13, 2013

I drink to bury my sorrows,
To help hide my shadows.
It starts with a tingle,
Suddenly I'm tearful.
The night continues,
The music contributes.
I drink a little more,
Finding it hard to pour.
I'm beginning to be cheerful,
This feeling, it's official.
The twinkle of joy,
That no one can destroy.
