Boxed Fate

by Thomas   Jan 1, 2014

A section of darkness separates us from the light,
I, afraid to exit it - a despair to leave in the night.
An oath I swore, to break it I shan't -
For then I shall bring doom upon all, I can't.

A force of chaos, hiding in me, in slumber,
None would be able to allow it linger.
I sit in a corner, weeping in-controllably,
My depression overtaking me, in totality.

This barred cage, an element worthy of its ability,
Capable of resisting many pressures due to entropy.
Few could tell if I do it by choice of will,
But never will they know of my death, a cold feel.
