Stress

by Court   Jul 7, 2014

Calm down
Take a breath

don't take the plunge
you'll break the crest

find a path
try the left

at the end
you'll find your depth.

Boiling rage
a stressful cage

expectations
page on page

speaking quickly
words so fast

longing only
breaks the past.

Hold on tightly
keep your head

anger will turn
calm instead

love and caring
things forgot

show the pain's
not all for naught.

I like how each stanza is only two lines so it gets to the point but it isn't so short that this means the piece has no strength or substance. This is a well written piece and if you'd like a better home for it, it would fit in the life category pretty well. Anyway, like I said, I like this piece. Nice job.

I thought that, but couldn't figure out which sub category... thank you very much for the feedback, though. :)
