    Hello Meena,

    at last my computer is working...

    A challenge and a unique one to use previous poem titles. Tell me are all the lines titles or are they spread throughout?

    anyway..

    In the shade of your heart
    memories kick away doubts,
    feelings of You... burns the sorrow
    in brown eyes;
    ^
    great verse here. The image of a love this vast that doubt is not needed. But then, that sadness in the eyes makes me feel there is some loss...

    We may be just a touch away
    but our words are children at play,
    like an unforgettable book,
    I'm lost within the ocean of your
    soothing coos,
    ^
    Again, this is great. There is nostalgia here and I am thinking this love could be parental?? Lost within the coos...

    You are the pillar in my life
    who held the weight in my
    eyes, your the keeper of
    joys and woes -killer of my
    ravenous past;
    ^
    A strong upright dependable and reliable love. A love that has proven itself time and time again.

    Life is full of surprises and
    you are one of them,
    to know you and have you in my life...
    is Gods' precious gift which
    I thank.
    ^
    At one point I thought this poem may have been about God, and it is, but not directly I think. A dedication to a special person who has carried you when you were weak and nurtured you many times until you were strong enough. But, now this person is far away in a sense, but also 'a touch away'

    Well done, I am not sure if I get your meaning completely but I have enjoyed reading your words and feeling the intent.

    Take care,

    Michael

    Clever, very clever, especially the word play beginning to end...I thank seems like improper English, but definitely not in this context, great to read you again.....

    You are always gracious, whether in your poetry, or in your appreciations of the God's gifts.

    Beautifully written, missed reading your poems :)

    Using your own titles & building a beautiful piece like this...just shows your immense talent.

    Loved the last stanza...

    all the best & take care dear Sis

    Not as simple as the title implies, really smart play on words and very sincere draft of expression!

    I loved the pour of emotions in each verse and love the way everything rhymed so well! It's very easy to imagine the whole scene relying on your metaphors and descriptive tone.

    There is the dark and the light side in this poem,
    it takes you in and out and then in and out
    until you reach the last verse and learn how grateful
    you are as the character in this piece.

    In the shade of your heart
    memories kick away doubts,
    feelings of You... burns the sorrow
    in brown eyes;
    ^^^^^
    What a verse ! When love is powerful
    enough to heal the wounds. Beautiful just beautiful feelings.

    Thank you for sharing.

    This was such a beautiful poem and the stanza that got me blown away was probably the third one, maybe because I relate the most to that one, but anyways it is beautiful, unique, interesting and to end all else fascinating that you made a poem with the titles of other poems and it feels like something warm to read in any season of the year and brings happiness it's so delicate and loving!

    P.s. thank you for reading my poem! Have a lovely day! :)

    I am glad to see when u deleted your account u came to your senses and came back here. I am very glad to see it's only been a short time since your last poem on this site. I have checked the people from way back (can you believe over 10 years now?) and none of them are still writing besides you and me! Replied to your PM from June, just saw it, sorry, don't think I have been on here since then, before today. Take care.

    This is lovely to read, and I like how you have created this with your previous titles, what a fun challenge to do. I might try this myself when I get time to write!

    There is so much truth in this poem, and makes you grateful for the gifts in life that we forget to be thankful for!

    Lovely words
