Warmth

by Ernest Johnson   Dec 3, 2015

I bask in the warmth
Of heavens glow
Gentle raindrops
Bathe my soul

Daemons retreat
For where they came
To no longer point
Their fingers of blame

A healing light
As the sun shines down
Lighting my path
While I'm homeward bound

Rising up
From my fall from grace
I have arrived
At a sacrosanct place

Simplistic elegance this week by Ernest this week. I do love his pure emotion and thought, intertwined within a touch of rhyme here and there. Its a lovely inspirational and spiritual poem.. just wonderful !

As Dagmar says, this is a beautiful piece. A calming and wonderfully flowing write.

    All the very best,
