Little flower

by vincent art   Oct 31, 2016

O little flower, how lovely you are to me.
for just a glance you took a lot of my missery
yet your existence to me was still a mystery.
For you grew in a world so different no butterfly would dare fly nor a bee.
I don't know if it was pity or just my curiousity.
I took you home for me and kept you as my own,
this would do you good yet it is not known.
And now my heart is filled with uncertainty .
For the once elegant beauty seems to fade in time.
Maybe you'll still reach your prime.
If i didn't coveted such beauty.
My heart reeks with grief and sorrow.
Fearing you'll be gone no sooner tomorrow.
O lovely flower please keep your bloom.
I should have been contented admiring you from afar.
Shine back your beauty for me like a star.
Loosing you will be my doom.

This is really good... Sometimes when we see beauty we should admire it from afar as all it does is hurt us. Beauty fades with age.
