Cynthia... Shining like stars

by Okeke Emmanuel   Dec 28, 2016

Let my hand never ripple
Let my ink not fizzle
Let my brain not bridle
As I ponder on my saddle
To scribble a quasi-epistle

Today is a day so special
A day God has made official
Not like others in the line serial
That has no attribute than facial

This day I celebrate one
Who has virtually torn
All lives worm
Yet doesn't roam

A rare gem
A precious pearl
Golden jewel
Shining Egg Head
A symbol of Wit
An epitome of beauty
Beacon of her generation
...yet a bank of humility

I celebrate Cynthia
Glowing like shining stars
Whenever she stars
Like a pretty spinster
Shinning in Philadelphia

Fun loving
Easy going
Hardworking
Always lively
Multi talented
And lot more

A sister from another mother
I pray God bless you in every matter
Be fruitful in every order
Multiply your talent like no other
Be happy don't shudder
Even if all you gather
Fall away and scatter
In God only tether
If you don't want to suffer

Lest I forget
Thanks for all help from you I got
Amidst all trouble you kept the gut
To save me from hurt

May you find the best
May you find least test
As you taste
Bitter and sweet life with zest

At last may you find a good partner
That can always read your retina
And give you the joy inner
Then cherish him like a part finder

Again if you wish
You can go for one ultimate wish
One that looks sheepish
Though it will catch you a big fish
I mean one who can nourish
You with all dish
Now and in eternal reach
I mean the one that doesn't itch
Will not get bored in His pitch
You know the person I preach
The father of the rich
God almighty...ever Rich

No matter your choice
Be faithful even if it boils
Always go to God to foil
All that you have to toil

Celebrate your day
Avoid doomsday
Remember to think your life today
Remember to celebrate also the divine ray
Of life given to you
With all that for you pray
