Facade

by NightPersonality   May 7, 2017

The sunlight cuts through the remaining shadows,
Dawn has now broken, and so goes her repose.
She must now dance with daylight and with hope,
Regardless of the darkness inside of her soul.

With her smile so wide, and her laugh so loud,
The rage is burning, torching, consuming,
Until all that is left is a shell, wrapped in a shroud.
