The Bright Darkness

by OKECHUKWU EMEH   Aug 4, 2017

Like the glowing full moon in a starry sky, so was her calm beauty
Like the intoxicating power of strong wine, so was the bliss in her voice
Like the soft breeze gliding on the face of the sea, so was the grace in her steps
Like the warm air wafting over my lips, she kissed me and I was plunged into utter darkness
I screamed for help but could not hear my own voice
I gazed into the darkness but could not see a thing
I sought to express myself but the void prevented me
I was both conscious and unconscious
Then in my despair I heard her voice once more
“Seek the light in the darkness and you shall find me”, she said
“If you find the light you shall see no more darkness”
“Find me and you shall find Peace Profound”
“I am your salvation”
“I am the Bright Darkness”
I am the TRUTH!
