The Last Letter

by Lyn Aribaca   Dec 25, 2017

The glory fades on my face
From the middle to the last lines
Tears fall down on drowning grace
A moment blocked this unsolved maze

A letter once I held on my hand
I fold it more than twice
Words floating up on my mind
Crossing back on repeated times

Now, I know it was your last letter
though, its painful I'll try to understand
the last thing you said, "one day you'll get better,”
this I hope to see me fine but I cried much harder.
