What One Day May Be

by Shinobi   Apr 16, 2018

Staring through the looking glass
A crystal ball, silver and blue
Viewing a future which would surpass
All that I know, wrong or true

Staring at the starry skies
Shining through a dark night
A punishment, or perhaps a prize
Glaring through embracing light

Warmth surrounds my very being
A world which does not know cold
Such a sublime majestic feeling
A future of happiness about to unfold

No feeling surpasses loving you
From dusk to dawn empowering my soul
Wishing this reality could come true
My heart never fades from that goal

Visions of happiness cloud my mind
Through the crystal ball it is hard to see
Perhaps one day we would finally find
The answer to what one day may be
