Poetry in the youth

Nowadays, poetry is uncommon to the youthful mind, but why?
Words made to confuse and amaze minds, deeper meanings to each and every word and phrase.

Nowadays people seem to disregard poetry. You can't interest them all, but you can interest them, the ones who like poetry, like drips of water, that occasionally fall. Again, and again, and again. Few minds will enjoy these witted words, and silly syllables.

But we shouldn't be ashamed to hide our poems, our interest. If it's mouse and keyboard, notebook and pen, or even quill and paper. Keep writing, fellow poets. For we are inspirations to all. No one sees such beauty in words such as ours.
