Two Warriors

by WanderingShade   Aug 5, 2018

Two warrior's stand side by side,
Backs pressed firmly together,
As the world throws wave after wave against them.
Arrows fly fast from the one clad in black,
A warrior of the Darkness,
Protector of his Light.
Blades clash with the one clad in white,
A warrior of the Light,
Protector of her Darkness.
As the warriors dance with their deaths,
Smiling at their lives,
One last joyful moment,
Stretching on for an eternity,
As the world throws it's all at them,
Desperately trying to take them,
They dance a dance of death around each other,
Laughing and smiling,
Because even in this moment they are at least suffering together…
