Thinking, Wishing, Praying

by WanderingShade   Jul 5, 2023

I sit here thinking again,
Always thinking too much,
Back down the dark path,
Just one quick action,
Could give me so much release...

I sit here wishing again,
Always wishing so much,
Back to the door of death,
Just one twist of a knob,
Could grant me my wishes...

I sit here praying again,
Always praying to Her,
Back in front of Her Apple,
Just one bite of its Golden flesh,
Could finally answer my prayers...

I'm to weak to find the knife,
I'm to weak to stand on my own,
I'm to weak to face Her,
So I just sit here,
Thinking of Death, Wishing for it, Praying that She grants me a release from my Strife,
If only for a small while...
