Who Am I?

by Muhammad Amiruddeen   Dec 11, 2018

I'm a man destined to be free
I caged my life around my comfort
Built a barricade around my personality
To scare away those I see as threat to my way of life

Few I let to my world of endless wonders
For my circle is tight my doors is closed
Only the worthy see the real me
Beyond fades of indifference and decorated defiance

My defense against the shallow minded folks
Always in my shell but my mind soars worlds
Endless with thoughts and deep forecast of the tides

I'm a grown man and I dance to my silent music that runs to my core
Unheard to none but stiffs that can't see
An emblem of pride is what they see
When I showed the world my seal

Prime of the flock always lead in his right
Gotten not by fluke but directed be a star since from birth
Nurtured my mother nature herself to put life in all he touched.
