My beauty

by Rey Severs   Feb 6, 2019

You're probably sleeping but you're on my mind,
This life has been cruel, yet you have been kind,
Even if it's sometimes unfair,
You hold me up, I know you care.

The first thing I noticed were those beautiful eyes,
So full of mischief, laughter and life,
Lips like a doll's, so tiny and fair,
I remember my heart racing, as I placed mine there.

The first time I held you, it never felt so right, barely letting go, I squeezed you so tight, your pulse, your beauty, your tingly scent, the pain I had, it clearly went.

My princess, you complicate me, yet make me shine brighter,
My problems are heavy, but with you they feel lighter,
I just wish one thing, for you to hopefully see,
Just how special and perfect, you are to me
