SPECIAL OLYMPICS

SPECIAL OLYMPICS

I love these special needs kids, they are people too,
they want to run and play, like other children do,
some can ski, some can swim, some can jump and run,
but one thing they all want to do, is to have a lot of fun,
there is Tom, there is Mike, and a boy named Bill,
there is Rita, there is Mary and a girl named Jill,
it makes no difference what their name,
because they are a special kid, it makes them all the same,
so open up your heart, help make their dreams come true,
all it takes is a little love and cash, from people just like you,
let us show these special kids they are not alone,
they are some of the finest kids, this man has ever known,
these kids have special needs, to mature and grow,
when the containers come around, toss in a little dough,
help these kids keep their pride, no matter what you do,
thank you SPECIAL OLYMPICS, I wrote this poem for you.
