I Was Blessed

I was blessed with a love,
So precious and true,
The love that we had,
Blossomed and grew,

A blessing from god,
A partner for life,
Thats what I thought,
When I became your wife,

Never did I imagine,
You'd be taken away,
By angels to heaven
I'm so sad to this day,

I'll never forget you,
I still love you each day,
And I know you still love me,
Although far away.

This poem I wrote about the most precious person to come into my life Michael, I Love you loads x x x x x although your far away x x x x x

    This was very well expressed and very touching. I also went through a similar loss when my husband's young life was suddenly cut short. I still feel the loss years later but I can be grareful for memories of the years we shared together.
