You Know What I Hate?

by Luvmeluvr   Nov 12, 2004

You know what I hate
At the start of each day?
That I'm still alive
And not dead where I lay.

You know what I hate
At the end of each night?
That I keep on breathing
And I'm still in the fight.

You know what I hate
About people like you?
Around people like me
You don't know what to do.

You know what I hate
About everyone else?
They're all so caught up
With no one but themselves.

There's no time to care
About people like me
Til we end our lives
And we force you to see.

This really is an incredibly poignant poem. I wish it weren't, though. Regardless, great poem... nicely defiant anthem.
